Korea affirms support to ICT

The South Korea Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Park Byeong Seug, has affirmed his country’s commitment to maintain bilateral cooperation with Rwanda.

He made the remarks after meeting Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi, yesterday.

The delegation of Korean MPs led by Seug discussed with the premier on how to enhance cooperation.

Seug noted that Rwanda was set to achieve its development goals due to political and leadership will.

The Director of Cabinet in the Prime Minister’s office, James Kimonyo, said the Korean government has strengthened the communication system through high technology materials provided to ICT schools in Rwanda.
