Tigo rewarded over 20,000 couples in the just-concluded ‘Tigo Bonane’ promotion that started in November, 2013, Tongai Maramba, the telecom’s general manager has said. The couples won a wide range of prizes, including android smartphones and cash prizes of between Rwf20,000 and Rwf500,000.Maramba said 16 couples of these won Rwf500,000 in the eight-week promotion."Bonane was one of the ways to show appreciation to subscribers,” he said. The telecom company has over two million subscribers.Agnes Aisha Mwavita from Kayonza District is one of the 16 couples that won the Rwf500,000 cash prize.
