As the month of August nears its end, the Rwandan music scene is also alive and vibrant, thanks to a wave of fresh releases from hardworking talents including Jules Sentore, Bwiza and France Mpundu who are leading the airwaves with their catchy melodies.
But they are not the only ones making the waves. Joining this musical fiesta are equally dedicated artists like Nessa, Day maker DM, Manzidbest, Tonalite and others.
These homegrown talents have ensured that August does not slip away unnoticed, blessing us with tracks that promise to linger on our playlists long after the month ends.

Dawe – Jules Sentore
Jules Sentore, a renowned Rwandan traditional singer, recently released a gospel song titled ‘Dawe’ which translates to ‘Mighty God’ or ‘Father’.
The song draws inspiration from bible verses, particularly the lines "Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven...”. Produced by -X on the beat’ and directed by -Julien Bmjizzo, the song carries a deeply spiritual message.
Among other artistes who have recently released new songs are Siloam choir ‘Hari umunsi’, Day maker DM ‘Location’, Obah Muziki ‘Only you’, Tonalite ‘Kadirake’, Payd ‘I’m in love’ and many others.
