Dear editor,
The new series of training the police in Rwanda is something we highly regard. With the continuous uncertainties that are persistent in our world today, lacking a highly trained and disciplined police force would be a disaster.

Considering Rwanda’s turbulent past and what it has become at present, a lot of credit goes out to the police force.

Though no society is devoid of crimes, at least crime rates can be greatly reduced.

This can only be done if justice reigns and for this to happen law and order should be paramount.

The police are a very essential part of society and with the training courses they undergo, corruption should not be part of the force.

Through leading by example they can influence the general public for the better.

Rwanda police should be marked with integrity and discipline and you never know other countries in the EAC will also follow their example.
