The Director of the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA), Col. Jill Rutaremara (R) and the Director of the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) based at Addis Ababa University, Mulugeta Gebrehiwot Berhe display copies of the Memorandum of Understanding they signed on behalf of the two organisations.

The two institutions pledged to work together in the areas of professional development, research and outreach programmes. The signing ceremony took place at the IPSS Headquarters in Addis Ababa and was witnessed by Dr. Simon A. Akindes, the Educational and Professional Development Lead at IPSS and Lt Col. Ndore Rurinda, Rwanda’s Defence and Military Attaché in Ethiopia.
