Former Rayon Sports head coach Didier Gomes da Rosa will tomorrow sign a contract with Cameroonian champions Coton Sport de Garoua, Saturday Sport has reliably learnt. The Frenchman, who quit the reigning Rwandan champions early this week, arrived in Garoua on Thursday and will this Sunday be unveiled as the head coach, replacing Sébastien Desabre. The 44-year-old will have a tough task trying to emulate Desabre, who refused to renew his contract with the 12-time Cameroon champions.Desabre arrived in Cameroon in October 2012 and helped them win the Cameroon league and reached the semi-finals of the African Champions League.Gomes stunned the Nyanza-based club by resigning just before the start of the league second round this weekend. His decision came at the time when Rayon Sports were due to return to the CAF Champions League for the first time in seven years after leading the team to league success last season. His relations with the club were reportedly on good footing and the club offered him a two-year contract extension in April last year.
