The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) today announced that business registration will be exclusively conducted through online system effective February 14 for all businesses based in Kigali.

According to a statement, the move is part of the ongoing doing business reforms aimed at making it easier and better to do business in the country.

"To facilitate the smooth transition, the company registration office in RDB will offer work spaces and free online help-desk services to all our clients for a 12-month period," Louise Kanyonga, the Registrar General, said in the statement.

As opposed to the Rwf15, 000-discontinued physical registration, the online registration is free, the body added.
