APR’s Dutch coach Rene Feller fears his players could face burn-out after a punishing football season schedule.

Speaking to Time Sport in Dar-es-salaam recently, Feller expressed concern particularly to those who feature for the national team insisting that the grilling number of games they have played in this period could leave them burnt-out.

With the national football league raging on and many more games for the 2010 World/African cup qualifiers lined up, APR’s midfielder Haruna Niyonzima is one of those players Feller is concerned about.

"Haruna has played for two years without a break for both the national team and club. He needs to rest,” Feller said.

Others in the pack include Jean-Claude Ndoli, Jean Mugiraneza, Haruna Niyonzima, Elias Uzamukunda Elias Ntaganda, Mbuyu Twite, Hegman Ngoma, JMV Rukundo and Jean Bosco Uwacu.

Last season, APR players were all over the place after taking part in the national league, Amahoro cup, Lotto cup, 2007 Cecafa senior challenge Cup, Kagame Cup championships, Caf African champions’ league and 2006 African nations’ cup qualifiers and2010 World/African cup qualifiers. 

Nine-time record national league champions and two-time Kagame Cup champions resigned striker Abbas Rassou from Moroccan side Olympique Khuoribga, Eritrean international midfielder Berhane Arega, Kimalwa Mwembo (DR. Congo) and Cameroonian defender Dairon Hamadou
In a move that is geared at strengthening the squad, APR is set to bring in new faces. 

Among these include; Aimable Rucogoza (Rayon Sport), Arafat Serugendo (Mukura) and the Atraco duo of Mutesa Mafisago (Atraco) and Ismail Nshutinamagara.

Meanwhile, APR are set to lose Sadou Boubakary who is on the brink of joining an undisclosed Spanish first division club.
