Dear editor,
I wish to thank the  leadership of Kigali City council especially the Mayor Aisha Kirabo for her decision
to demolish dilapidated  houses in the city.

It is a welcome move because there is need to construct more decent houses in the city, as it would enable residents to stay in healthier and spacious environments.

The city and its suburbs need to be uplifted. Why on earth, should one live in a city and still live in poor shanty environment.

The move should be extended to other slums especially in Biryogo-Nyamirambo and other areas.
