NEW YORK - Randy Foye hit six three-pointers to lead the Denver Nuggets past the Oklahoma City Thunder, while the Knicks upset the reigning champions on Friday morning.The Nuggets won their fourth straight game after beating the Thunder 101-88 at home, to improve their record to 18-17.Foye paced the Nuggets with 24 points, Frenchman Evan Fournier came off the bench to contribute 19, while the Thunder remain inconsistent since Russell Westbrook was ruled out with a knee injury.The Thunder (27-9) lost consecutive games for the third time this season.The Nuggets led 89-66 by the end of the third quarter, and Oklahoma’s All-Star Kevin Durant sat out the entire fourth quarter, despite his game-high 30 points.The reigning champions Miami Heat were unable to stop a much-improved Knicks team, after losing 102-92 at Madison Square Garden, in New York.Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points, Italian Andrea Bargnani contributed 19, as they outrebounded the Heat, 43-32.New York won their fourth game in the past five, set their record to 13-22, and showed a clear improvement since the poor start to the season.After the game, Miami Head’s head coach Erik acknowledged the New York’s dominance: "All I know about this game is they outplayed us and they earned that win,” he said.LeBron James finished with a game-high 32 points, and Dwyane Wade added 23 for the defending champions, who could not count with the services of Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier due to injuries.Self-confidence seems to be the key for the Knicks who beat championship title contenders the San Antonio Spurs a few days.Knicks’ leading scorer Anthony told reporters after the win over Miami that they are moving forward: "We’re taking strides.
