Over 40 Rwandan police officers head to Darfur, South Sudan and Haiti

A total of 41 Rwanda Police officers will this Friday depart from Kigali to Darfur, (Sudan), South Sudan and Haiti for United Nations peacekeeping missions.

A total of 41 Rwanda Police officers will this Friday depart from Kigali to Darfur, (Sudan), South Sudan and Haiti for United Nations peacekeeping missions.

Dan Munyuza, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations), asked the officers to remain courageous and jealously guard the acclaimed Rwanda National Police's discipline in peacekeeping missions, according to a police statement.

Rwanda maintains military and police peacekeeping contingents in different parts of the world.
