Uncle Austin, real name Austin Luwano, a local musician and radio presenter, has been arrested for allegedly issuing a bounced cheque. 

Urbain Mwiseneza, the Kigali City Police Spokesperson, said Uncle Austin is being held at Kicukiro Police Station.

According to the penal code, the penalty for issuing a bounced checque is 2 to 5 years in jail.
