‘Kalashnikov is dead, but AK47 rages on’

Editor, I believe the only reason General Mikhail Kalashnikov wasn’t well known is because he was a Soviet and the West still have the Cold War hangover. But as the writer said, a proper story of the AK47 exploits should be written by an army general. I believe there must be several interesting tales of the war escapades.

Editor,

I believe the only reason General Mikhail Kalashnikov wasn’t well known is because he was a Soviet and the West still have the Cold War hangover. But as the writer said, a proper story of the AK47 exploits should be written by an army general. I believe there must be several interesting tales of the war escapades.

Finally, guns are just tools, and if not used by a human being will never kill anyone. So in my opinion, the man did well to design the gun and it’s up to us to use it well. For defence yes, but no for offence.
