Revelers should expect to be treated to a thrilling New Year party as the annual Happy People Party is held at Serena Hotel Kigali today.According to Remy Nsanga, the proprietor of Planet Club Kigali, and the main organiser of the event and his partner Wasswa Denis of Mbaraga Internet Radio, the event will bring together two experienced DJs, VDJ Mobi of Monster Radio, Nairobi, and Rwanda’s own DJ Karim of Planet Club."This is going to be a unique performance where the two DJs are going to perform simultaneously side by side,” Nsanga told The New Times.The event is going to take place at the Serena Hotel in both ballrooms with the two different DJs expected to entertain revelers with two different styles.According to a press release, the Happy People party is also going to be held in Bujumbura on the eve of the New Year with the Burundi event featuring Rwanda’s VJ Danches and Kenya’s DJ E spinning the decks. The Kigali event will start from 10p.m till morning, and the entrance fee is 10,000. The event will be aired live on Mbaraga Internet Radio.
