Rwandan youngster Noam Emeran has reportedly signed a four-year deal with Dutch Eredivisie side Gronningen in a move that brought his Manchester United spell to an end.

The Dutch outfit is said to have paid Manchester United £850,000 for the budding winger with the Red Devils expected to earn 25 percent on onward sale.

Emeran impressed in the preseason with the Manchester United senior team, scoring against Leeds United and Chester and was tipped to make the squad for the 2023/24 season but the quest for adequate playing time made him open doors for Gronningen.

In an emotional farewell message, Emeran thanked the Manchester United fraternity for the platform they gave him since he arrived at the club as a 16-year old.

Emeran, 20, joined Manchester United on February 15, 2019 from Amiens, a move that saw him become the first signing of then manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He made 55 appearances in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 8 assists during his four-year stay at the club.
