Tanzania giants Yanga SC have sacked head coach Ernie Brandts on Monday after less than 15 months in charge following their 3-1 defeat by their arch-rivals Simba.Yanga, who have won the Tanzania Vodacom Premier League title 24 times, including last season’s, decided to terminate the services of the Dutch coach following a run of poor results of the club in recent games."The club has given a 30-day notice to Dutch coach Ernie Brandts, for the termination of his contact,” a Yanga statement said."The decision follows a run of poor results in previous games in the Premier League, and friendlies, including the defeat against Simba, in the weekend,” it explained.The club has also revealed that Assistant coach Fred Felix ‘Minziro’ would take charge of the first team as they prepare for the second round of the Vodacom Premier League as well as Caf champions league matches.Brandts was in charge of Rwanda’s APR FC for close to two seasons before he was sacked in 2012.
