Let’s remember those that are suffering in one way or another and try to ease their pain in any way we can.Visiting and sharing Christmas with the sick, the hungry, the disadvantaged, refugees, and the abandoned could be some of the ways we can celebrate this day more meaningfully. Let’s share with them the joy that comes with this day. A gift or any other act of kindness can put a smile on someone’s face.Let Christmas be a day to support Jesus’ mission for mankind.Let’s mark the birth of Jesus by spreading the happiness, promise and hope He brings forth. Yes, many will go to their respective places of worship, eat and drink all types of foods and beverages, and dance, but that’s not enough.This should also be a moment of reflection; it is an opportunity to examine ourselves. Christmas reminds us of the values and kindness that characterised Jesus’ life. Do we endevour to follow his example?
