Residents of Musanze town will have a lot in store for them this Christmas as a renowned veteran artiste makes his come-back on the music scene by launching his new album, “Wimfatanya n’agahinda”, which he called his Christmas present for his loyal fans.

Residents of Musanze town will have a lot in store for them this Christmas as a renowned veteran artiste makes his come-back on the music scene by launching his new album, "Wimfatanya n’agahinda”, which he called his Christmas present for his loyal fans.Justin Mwitenawe’s much anticipated album launch is scheduled today at Ubworoherane Stadium in Musanze District.The concert will feature an array of seasoned musicians such as Impara Orchestra and Abdul Makanyaga. Also expected to perform is Hip-hop singer sensation Jay Polly.The new13-track album is a collection of some of Mwitenawe’s popular old songs and new compositions. With some of his songs still enjoying steady airplay, the 59-year old singer says the event will mark his return to the music scene and is optimistic the launch will be successful."I have been busy working on my album and I am an experienced artiste. I have great hope that it will be successful. My fans are all invited to come and we enjoy Christmas together and I promise not to disappoint,” he said.The concert starts at 3p.m, and entrance fee ranges from Rwf1000 to Rwf2000 in the ordinary and VIP seats, respectively. Children will pay Rwf5oo.The singles on the album include "Wimfatanya n’aga”, "Umwali wanze umwarimu”, "Ni iki wabuze” and "Wakora iki.”
