Editor, Agaciro Development Fund is one of the best initiatives in recent years. It’s an initiative that could inspire other African countries to pave the road towards real self-reliance, but I am worried about the management of the Fund – not for possible abuse but bureaucracy.Twenty billion Rwandan Francs is big money that can generate, at the minimum, six million per day and two billion a year.With my small means, I contributed around Rwf800, 000 towards the Fund this year from my pocket and I did a great job to convince some friends to contribute as well. It’s important that the Fund is managed transparently and professionally for the benefit of the nation – the current and future generations.Above all, we need to make the Fund sustainable.Peter, Kigali****************This is certainly very good news.
