Editor,Creativity is like an ocean where every drop will contribute to the betterment of those who drink it. When I hear of creativity, I think of "creative work” -- that’s writing novels, fiction, movies...We don’t have enough creative people in Africa as is the case in other continents. I support the idea of using education to enhance creativity because I know the fruits are enormous.Rwanda needs people like Chinua Achebe, but Chinua Achebe must not be the only person to talk about when it comes to writing books. It’s about time Rwanda embraced the written word. There are other diverse fields of creativity; those ones should be filled as well. Creativity, if done with passion, will undoubtedly boost one’s financial situation and encourage them to keep on watering their talents. We can build ourselves from one drop of creativity’s ocean to change our socioeconomic status. As I said earlier, creativity is endless and has endless opportunities as well.Mutara Intore, KigaliReaction to the story, "Youth summit to unlock creativity using education” (The New Times, December 20)
