The competition attracted 10 participants.The two-day competition was organised by KIST Chess Club, with support from Costech Senior Management and Rwanda Chess Federation.Rebero, who only learned the game just three months ago, showed his opponents that it does not matter the number of years one has played but only concentration, problem solving ability and strong analysis skills count.Fernand Mugisha, who recently qualified for the World Chess Olympiad came in second, while Denis Shema finished in third position.
