Bralirwa remained the dominant counter during the week, selling 6,000 shares worth Rwf5.07m yesterday up from 100 shares traded at Rwf84,800 last Monday.However, the Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index went down 0.86 points during the week, to close at 234.69 points yesterday compared to last Monday’s 235.55 points.This was mainly due to the fall in Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf845 in yesterday’s trading compared to last Monday’s Rwf848.Meanwhile Bank of Kigali counter was quiet with no shares traded. The same situation prevailed on Kenya Commercial Bank counter whose shares last transacted at Rwf185. There was no activity on the Nation Media Group and Uchumi Supermarket counters as well which last transacted at Rwf1,200 and Rwf175 respectively.At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 182,700 Bank of Kigali shares between Rwf240-250 and an outstanding bid of 3,000 shares at Rwf225.On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 879,600 shares between Rwf 844-890 and an outstanding bid of 5,400 shares at Rwf835.On the Kenya Commercial Bank counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,400 shares between Rwf175-180 and no outstanding offers.The Nation Media Group counter had an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf1,200 and no outstanding offers.
