Buffalos 58-5  Sharks

Gorillas  8-10  Lion de Fers

Buffaloes were all smiles on Sunday after Lion de Fers stunned reigning champions Gorillas at Rugunga grounds.

The three-time champions displayed top knack as they side-stepped Gorillas 10-8 in a massive tie that could be a turning point in the race of this year’s title.

Lion de Fers’ forward Papi Nikwigeze showed his prowess when he made his club’s only try after out-running Gorilla’s defense.

Following Gorillas’ defeat and Buffaloes’ enormous 58-5 victory over Sharks on Saturday, Buffaloes now enjoy a four point lead at the top of the table.

Lion de Fers moved into second place with 16 points while Gorillas who failed to add on to their points tally (14) are level with UNR Grizzlies who earned default points from Kanombe’s Simba.
