Dear editor,

I was surprised by the very warm reception the Democratic candidate Obama got while on tour in Europe. In fact, if he was allowed to get votes from that part of the world he would start counting himself as the next US president.

Nevertheless, popularity gained in Europe counts a lot in the US election and no wonder the tour put the Republican candidate on alert.

Obama is indeed an interesting candidate.
