KIGALI VOLLEYBALL CLUB (KVC) has signed right attacker Richard Muhirwa (Inatek) and setter Sylvestre Ndayisaba from Rusomo high school to boost their chances of winning next season’s silverware.
KIGALI VOLLEYBALL CLUB (KVC) has signed right attacker Richard Muhirwa (Inatek) and setter Sylvestre Ndayisaba from Rusomo high school to boost their chances of winning next season’s silverware.Head coach Jean Marie Nsengiyumva told Times Sport that Muhirwa signed a one-year contract with the club while Ndayisaba penned a three-year deal.The club is also in talks with center duo of Justin Munyinya, from Rusumo high school and Gideon Mutabazi from St Joseph.Nsengiyumva also said the team still wants to sign more players who are yet to be revealed so that they can compete on high level next season.KVC kicked off preparations for next season last weekend at Amahoro indoor stadium and Nsengiyumva believes they will make a slight difference compared to last season’s performances.He further added that KVC will start winning silverware in the next one or two years due to the fact that they will be having a formidable side by then."Our team is progressing slowly and we are so optimistic ahead of next season but we must prepare well and put on a brave fight against our rivals next year,”"We are building the team for the future and we want to have a good team for the future. Hope we will achieve something good in future,” he added.
