La Jeunesse v  Nyanza

National University of Rwanda (NUR), La Jeunesse, Amagaju and Nyanza have qualified to semi-finals of the second division soccer league after registering wins in their second leg ties played yesterday.

Muhanga, who were the top favorites to qualify for the next year’s top division were left cursing after losing 1-0 against Nyanza.

Muhanga had won the first leg 2-1 in Muhanga but Nyanza qualified on the away goal rule.

In the semifinals, NUR will face Amagaju whereas La Jeunesse will meet Nyanza. The first leg matches are scheduled for Wednesday.
