THE contestants came from Sudan, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda to showcase their talent and represent their countries at the sixth edition of Tusker Project Fame, (TPF6).As weeks passed, some were evicted from the competition and now only six contestants remain standing. The finale is set for tomorrow, December 8. The winner in this year’s Tusker Project Fame will walk away with Kshs5m (about Rwf35 m), plus a one year record deal with Universal Music Group South Africa.Patrick (Rwanda), Hope (Burundi), Nyambura (Kenya), Hisia, Amos and Josh (Kenya) and Daisy Ejang (Uganda) are the last ones standing. Rwanda was represented by Patrick Nyamitari, Phionah Mbabazi and Peace Jolis. Now all our hopes rest on Patrick to bring home the bounty. His strong vocals have won over the faculty, judges and the audiences. Patrick has been a force to reckon since the show started and if his last Sunday night’s performance is anything to go by, he could win the competition. Now whether he can beat finalists Daisy, Hope, Amos and Josh and Nyambura depends on how East Africa votes. To vote for Patrick, log onto Tusker.mobi or SMS Tusker 9 and send to 25473996681.
