Ishyo Arts in Kacyiru is where it all started. It is here that the Comedy Knights staged their very first comedy gig in October 2012. Since then, the group has seen its audience grow by leaps and bounds, holding monthly comedy shows at the venue. The shows have been held in Kinyarwanda, French and English, but today the show will cater for only English and French speakers. It is a follow-up of last month’s show, which too was held in English and French.According to Arthur Nkusi, one of the founders of Comedy Knights, the show kicks off at 5:30pm, with a live painting competition, before the comedians hit the stage at 7:30pm. The show is being held in partnership with Inema Arts Center. Entrance will be Rwf5000.Some of the acts lined up for the night are; Nkusi, Michael Sengazi, Jerome Migisha, and Rwanda’s youngest comedian, 18 year-old John Naifa Muyenzi, aka Babu.
