The Tour of Rwanda 2013 concluded yesterday with South Africa’s Dylan Girdlestone striking gold.

The best performing Rwandan, Jean Bosco Nsengiyumva of Team Karisimbi, came in sixth overall, while compatriot Valens Ndayisenge of Team Akagera, was voted the most promising rider in the Fifth Tour of Rwanda edition. Yesterday’s leg, the seventh and final, saw the riders cover a distance of 97.2 kilometres around the City of Kigali.
