Bernard Karunga, an Arsenal Football Club fan, on Friday, was the lucky winner of an all-expense paid off trip to go and watch the English Premier League game between Arsenal and Chelsea on December 23 at the Emirates Stadium in London, courtesy of Airtel. The 38-year old, a car mechanic in Nyabugogo, emerged the winner of Airtel’s ‘Dunda’ promotion that took place in early November."Arsenal remain the most expensive team to watch in the United Kingdom and we wanted our customers to enjoy the experience,” said John Magara, the Brand and Communications manager at Airtel Rwanda. The promotion, which attracted entries from participants across the country, only required an Airtel subscriber to send a short message or call 155 to get points that ushered them into the draw.Karunga expressed excitement upon learning that he will be in the stands to watch the London derby."I didn’t expect to win but being a die-hard Arsenal fan, I kept on trying. I am really glad that I am the lucky winner, it’s a dream come true,” he said. Airtel and Arsenal Football Club have a three-year partnership  agreement which sees the former utilise the club’s merchandising, hospitality, and content rights in five countries; Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, Uganda and Rwanda.
