Rwanda Volleyball Federation has confirmed that everything is set for the start of the FIVB Zone V World Championships qualifiers scheduled from November 26 through December 1 at Amahoro indoor stadium in Kigali.The tournament will attract five countries; including Burundi, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda and hosts Rwanda.One of the regional teams will join Egypt (already qualified) in the continent’s final qualifying round. The final round, due early 2014, will decide the top three teams that will represent Africa at the 2014 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championships in Poland. Paul Bitok’s side has been in rigorous training since early November, and the trainer is hopeful that Rwanda will make good use of home advantage. "Preparations have been going well (with the team and on the organisational part) and I believe we are ready for the challenge, we’ll be playing at home so the pressure is on us to do well,” the former Kenyan international told Times Sport on Saturday.He added, "We need to be focused on these games and try to secure our points so that we can qualify for the final round.”Most of the teams are already in Kigali.
