The battle for the first division spots is on today in the second division quarter-finals return leg matches to determine who to precede to the semifinals.

With the top contenders winning their first leg matches in midweek, today’s return leg ties promises to be hotly contested.

Muhanga beat Nyanza 2-1; NUR defeated Zebra 1-0, Espoir lost 0-1 to La Jeunesse whereas Musanze and Amagaju drew 1-1.

The semi-final matches are scheduled for next week on Wednesday from where the two finalists get promoted to first division for next season.
