AS Muhanga coach Ali Bizimungu has said he now feels a sense of relief after registering his first win of the season which also got his team out of the bottom two for the first time after nine rounds of Turbo King National Football League matches.Marines FC became the first casualty of Bizimungu’s side last week going down 10 in Muhanga thanks to striker Nassar Irakoze’s all important goal 11 minutes after the break to ease some pressure off his coach, who prior to last weekend, had only managed three points from a possible 24."We are now in a better position, and I hope that win will be a big morale booster from now onwards. We don’t want to go back in the relegation zone because it is frustration for the coach and for the team,” the former Rayon Sports coach told this paper at the weekend. He admitted, "We started the season badly but now we can push on after getting our first win of the season. It is a very important win for us because it was a difficult game and I must thank all my players for staying together in a difficult time and I hope this win will kick-start our season. We can now afford a smile because the pressure was starting to pile up,” he acknowledged. The win moved AS Muhanga from bottom of the table up three places into 11th position, above Esperance, Amagaju and Marines.
