Moutcho band put up a captivating performance despite the poor turn up at Jazz and Blues concert at the Manor hotel, last Friday. With the show starting at 7:30pm, the band came on stage alongside Germany saxophonist Karoline Ceasar and sent revellers into frenzy.Though the show was poorly attended, those who came enjoyed the best performance from the group. The group performed a vast repertoire of Jazz and Blues with tunes such as Autumn Leaves, Summertime, their own tracks Haramahoro and Gallileo, among others. The stage and sound was great. The show ended at exactly 10:30pm. Alida Baranyizigiye, the event organiser said she was thrilled by the performance but was also disappointed about the turn up. "The show was really good with amazing performances; however it beats my understanding why Rwandans don’t appreciate such events.” Moutcho is a Burundian band composed of Yvan Kwizera (bass), Amadi Nkurikiye (drums) and Arnaud Nganji (guitar).
