Millet flour costs Rwf1,220 per kilogramme, while maize flour goes for Rwf670 a kilo in Nyarugenge and Kimironko markets. Irish potatoes cost between Rwf180 and Rwf200 in Nyabugogo, Nyamirambo and Rugando markets. Tomatoes cost Rwf700 per kilogramme and that of carrots is at Rwf500. Groundnut paste is at Rwf1,200 per kilo and fresh peas go for Rwf1,100 a kilogramme in Nyabugogo market.Beef costs between Rwf2,000 and Rwf2,300 in Giporoso and Kicukiro, respectively.Six grammes of laundry soap cost Rwf600, a litre of cooking oil is at Rwf1,500 and passion fruits cost between Rwf1,300 and Rwf1, 400 a kilogramme. A litre of milk goes for Rwf400, while a tray of eggs cost Rwf2,500.
