After a successful end t the 2013 season, Rwanda Basketball Federation have, for the second year, organized an All Stars game scheduled for Sunday Amahoro indoor stadium, starting at 11am.

A total of 24 players were selected from the seven national league clubs and they are split into two teams. Team A will be coached by Espoir’s Jean Bahufite and while Team B will be handled by KBC’s Cyrile Kalima.

Espoir beat KBC 3-1 to win the best of five playoffs finals last weekend to add to their regular season league title. 

It is the second successive season that Bahutite’s team have swept both trophies although this time they missed out on ending the season with an unbeaten run following defeat in Game Three of the playoffs.

Both the Rafiki side, Espoir and APR (women) will be handed their trophies on Sunday after the All Stars game, which will be preceded by competitions in slam dunking and other individual skills by players from the opposing teams.

Ferwaba will also award the referee of the year, coach of the year, fan of the year and volunteer of the year. Other trophies lined up will go to the youngest player of the year, top scorer, and the Most Valuable Player.

Team B: Nestor Manzi (APR), Aristide Mugabe (Espoir), Patrick Buzangu (KBC), Igor Mugisha (APR), Yesman Bushiri (Rusizi), Lionnel Hakizimana (Espoir), Placide Kamuntu (CSK), Dan Hirwa (30 Plus), Sunny Niyomugabo (APR), Pacifique Habyarimana (KBC), Guillaume Ruzima (CSK) and Bienvenu Ngandu (Espoir).
