President Paul Kagame had a meeting with Nigerian music sensation David Adedeji Adeleke, widely known as Davido, at Urugwiro Village on Friday, August 18.

Davido is in Rwanda to headline at the Giants of Africa Festival Closing Concert, set to take place on Saturday, August 19, at BK Arena.

This marks Davido's third performance in Rwanda, with his previous appearances including the 30 Billion Concert in 2019 and the Liberation Concert in 2014.

The highly anticipated Giants of Africa closing ceremony, powered by Spotify, will feature not only Davido but also performances by Tiwa Savage from Nigeria, Tyla from South Africa, and Rwanda&039;s Bruce Melodie.

Davido arrived in Kigali on Thursday, August 17, and he has been actively engaging with youth campers participating in the Giants of Africa Festival at the Kigali Arena. He was seen cheering on participants during their games and interacting with them in various activities.

In addition to his main performance at the closing ceremony, Davido is also expected to grace two pre-festival parties. One will be held at Shooters Lounge, and the other will take place at La Noche.

With a successful career spanning several years, Davido boasts four studio albums, an extended play, and a multitude of hit singles.

His accomplishments include winning multiple MTV Awards, a BET Award, Soul Train Awards, The Headies, and more.
