The recent performance put up by the two local soccer clubs that represented Rwanda in the on going Eastern and Central African Football Associations competition (CECAFA) has left Rwandans disappointed a lot.

It is surprising to have both clubs that represented the country, including the defending champions eliminated from the tournament before even making it to the semi finals.

Rwandans felt the shock because after registering an outstanding performance, their teams suddenly were beaten by inexperienced teams.

APR Football Club and Rayon Sports, the ‘soccer giants’ of this country were the favorites.
