EASTERN PROVINCE

BUGESERA — The Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, Emmanuel Kolini has called on the  youth in Bugesera to exploit their talents in order to build the nation.

Kolini told youths to serve and love God with all their will for moral development.

"If you want to have a bright future do what God requires. This will help you prosper and live longer,” Kolini said and added: "Be faithful and repent for the sake of entering the Kingdom of God”.

Kolini made this calling on Wednesday, while addressing over 100 youths attending a three-day youth conference at Maranyondo Anglican Church in Bugesera District.

Quoting from the Bible he said, "Speak and act as people who will be judged by the law that sets us free. For God will not show mercy when he judges the person who has not been merciful, but mercy triumphs over judgment. My brothers, what good is it for some one to say that he has faith if his actions do not prove it.” He advised the youths to desist from pre-marital sex in order to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS.
