Rwandan media should learn to conduct market surveys

Editor,Four months ago I was posted to Kigali to represent my company and one of the key media I have been monitoring to get an understanding of the country is Rwanda TV. However, to my disappointment, the content is still lacking and the packing of programmes to suit the clients (viewers) needs to be improved.

Back home in Uganda, WBS Television has lost viewership to NTV because they have failed to understand what their clients want to watch.I would like to appeal to Rwanda TV to carry out a market research survey in the country to understand what the audience thinks of its programmes.
