The Tusker Dome was full to capacity. The audience was really excited to watch the performances from the contestants on probation to see if they had proven the judges wrong this week.At some point, show presenters Dr. Mich and Joey came out to psyche the crowd up. Mich held an impromptu singing competition with one team for him and one team for Joey. Joey came out looking absolutely stunning in her black dress. Once the show was underway, Dr. Mich introduced the contestants on probation and the faculty. Joey spoke to Patrick Nyamitari before he went on stage. Patrick said the week on probation was great for him. Patrick was glad to meet his fans and work on his song again. He promised a stronger performance without unnecessary tricks. The Rwandan stepped onto the stage and gave a very sweet performance. He had girls screaming in the audience with his rendition of John Legend’s ‘Number One’. After a great round of applause, Judge Atemi was impressed with Patrick’s performance, finding it stronger and more focused. Juliana was pleased that Patrick paid more attention to his vocals. Judge Ian felt that if Patrick had performed like he did tonight originally, Patrick would not be on probation. Judge Hermes thought Patrick did even better than he did last week. Principal Eric was equally impressed with Patrick’s performance. Patrick thanked the judges for the opportunity to be on probation because it helped him grow immensely. After the break, Mich spoke to Sitenda and asked her three quick questions. She said she would come back as a peacock in another life. When asked what she would be if she went back in time, she said she’d go to music school. Finally, when asked to pick one between Judge Ian and Dr. Mich, she picked Ian. Her ad libs were better suited to her voice and she came out strong. Judge Juliana was pleased to see Sitenda being honest to, who she was. Judge Ian was glad that the Ugandan gave a better performance but was sad that she still held back a bit. Coach Kavutha was glad the songstress gave a great performance and internalised the song more. Band Leader Aaron was happy to see Sitenda more comfortable with the song.Next, Joey spoke to Bior. He danced and sang his way through Chris Brown’s ‘She Ain’t You’. After the break, Dr. Mich spoke to Nyambura who said she would take him to Mama Rosie’s for dinner. After the customary jokes, Nyambura’s performances from last week were reviewed. Nyambura came out onto the stage right after that, singing Chris Martin’s ‘Cheaters Prayer’. Nyambura gave a powerful performance, keeping true to herself and including all the little nuances that made this song a hit. Judge Ian was glad that Nyambura allowed her voice to carry the message of the song. Nyambura thanked the judges and the faculty and headed back to her seat. After the break, the fate of the four contestants would be known. The Dome was suddenly tense as it would all come down to three groups of people. The faculty, the contestants and most importantly East Africa would select which of the four contestants would be staying and who would be going home.First to be saved by East Africa was Nyambura who had earlier received a standing ovation. She was over the moon! Next, the faculty chose to save Patrick and the contestants saved Sitenda. Though grateful, Patrick was speechless at missing eviction by a whisker. Bior’s final words were that he was a superstar already. Thankful for the platform that Tusker Project Fame 6 provided him, he promised that he would be big and would show East Africa that Bior is a force to be reckoned with.
