Right Guards CC will play Indorwa CC in the ongoing Zaaffran & Blueberry T20 tournament on Sunday at the Kicukiro cricket oval with each team seeking to win and qualify for the semi-finals.The two teams have eight points each and both have not lost a game in the preliminary rounds and whoever wins will go on top of group A.Indorwa will go into tomorrow’s crunch game with an upper hand after being the only team that has consistently scored over 200 runs in all their previous two matches.Their impressive performances have been engineered by their star players including Mihir Solanki, Vicky Prajapati and fast bowler Eric Dusabemungu."We know that Indorwa is a tough team but we are not scared, actually it has motivated us to work even harder. Our relatively young and enthusiastic side can surprise any team any day so don’t rule us out as yet,” said Right Guards captain Eric Dusingizimana. The Indorwa vs Right Guards match will be preceded by the clash between Victory CC against Kerala Hunters CC, starting at 8:30am.After losing the first two games, Victory’s chances to progress to the last four are very minimal. However, Kerala Hunters would be seeking to win in order to top Group B.On Saturday, Kigali Angels CC captain Sarah Uwera will lead her side against White Clouds CC. She said, "We have trained so hard and hope to win.”However, White Clouds will not be at full capacity especially in the absence of their two key players; Mary Maina and Ritah Nzaramba, who are sitting their national exams.
